Again, I dare ask how everybody is getting on?!
My lesions are increasing slowly. It's hard to judge really especially if you ignore them most of the time. #
Other than that, I am fine despite the odd bout of negativity which for me, is associated with thoughts of the systemic version of Degos.
Anyway, I hope you are all well and it would be great to hear how people are doing.
All the best,
Brian |

Hi everyone
I must admit that I haven't visited the site for a while (and it seems that few people have been bothering lately). Just thought I would let you know that on the 9th April I will be 72 and although it is now over 25 years since I have been clear of any lesions, I am still going strong.
If that gives some people a little bit of hope then I will be happy. Also the fact that my lesions did clear up all on their own shows that you don't necessarily have to be stuck with them for the rest of your life. However I was being experimented on all those years ago when I was only the 46th patent to ever be diagnosed and maybe something that was done to me or given to me at that time may have eventually caused my Degos to disappear.
I never did get any reply to the letter I wrote to the medical page of The Sun so it seems Degos is not interesting enough for them to have printed an article. I would love to read the article by Kelly that was printed. Perhpas Kelly could let me know what issue this article appeared in and I could order a back copy.
As I look out of my office window at the pouring rain I would just like to say that summer is coming and maybe a cure for Degos Disease will come in this decade also.
Best wishes to everyone - Pearl |
