Rodger’s Story
Rodger was diagnose with Degos disease in April 1981 at the age of 21 years old. Back in June 1978 Rodger suffer from severe left side headaches and in November 1978 the skin lesions from on his trunk. From November 1978 to April 1980, His memory deteriorated He lost his former ability and interest in music and athletics In March 1981 he complained of right hand numbness. In April 1981 He suffer his first stroke of many through the years. He had several brain operations in the 1980’s, He open heart surgery to repair a pin hole in his aorta cause by his disease. In 1990’s He was in a car accident. One new year eve, He sneeze and the bone at bridge on his nose blew out cause by the thinning of his skull due to the pressure of stokes He was in the hospital they put a piece of leg muscle to patch the hole. Stokes during the years made him blind and put Him in a wheelchair. This last year he had 4 brain operations now is bed fast But His will to live is strong. He never had any problems with his stomach. Hope and pray for Him and others who has this disease. His brother Randy wrote for Him.
